...the county does not have its own jail? The offender is most likely housed in another county jail facility. Please contact the local Victim Service Program for help with locating the offender and to get assistance with registering.

...the offender is transferred to a mental health care facility? You will need to register with the Department of Public Welfare. If you choose to enroll in the program, you must complete an enrollment form and mail it to the hospital where the offender has been admitted. An enrollment form and other important information are available through the Department of Welfare’s website.

...you do not know if the particular offender is in a county jail or state prison? The service will also indicate the location of the offender.
